Marriage and Family Life was God’s plan for humanity from the very beginning.

He created man and woman “in His own image” (Gen 1:27) and then entrusted them with the mission to multiply and fill the earth (cf. Gen 1:28) in basic cells of families.

God later sent his son Jesus into the world as a baby born in a family thus exalting the family as a privileged place where all his future sons and daughters can be nurtured in love.
